Starring:
Eleanor Tiernan (Ireland) - Cousin of Tommy Tiernan and a favourite with audiences as an original, honest and exciting comedienne. She is a regular at Best of Irish at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. On RTE Eleanor has appeared on The Panel, Republic of Telly, Tonight with Craig Doyle as well as being the opening act on on the flagship show Stand and Deliver. Recently she was a featured comedian on Stewart Lee’s Alternative Comedy Experience on Comedy Central.

Mike Capozzola (US) - Mike Capozzola is a unique hybrid, a cartoonist and a stand-up comedian. He’s a professional in both for over 20 years. Mike recently had a comedy special in Seattle with his ongoing show 'Pop Culture Extravaganza, Evil Cyborg Sea Monsters." A multimedia show featuring all the things that geeks enjoy: sci-fi, superheroes, and monsters. His work has appeared in TED Talks, WIRED, The Best of McSweeney’s and Mad Magazine.

Andy Valvur (EST/US) - With credits to his name like Comedy Store LA, NY Times contributer, The Improv, Andy is a political comic second to none with material about pretty much every nation in Europe and the rest of the world - a legend on the comedy scene for over 30 years, he even has an Estonian passport too, go figure.

Welcome to Luxembourg Comedy Festival 2017
(Oct 28; Nov 17, 18, 19)
The festival welcomes professional stand-up comedians from around the world such as Rory O’Hanlon (Ireland), Sarah Donnelly (USA), Stephen Carlin (SCO), Carly Baker (USA), Javier Jarquin (NZ), Adrien Arnoux (France), Thanyia Moore (UK), David Tsonos (Canada) & local talents and rising stars of comedy living in Luxembourg!
The festival takes place at 4 venues: Marionnette, Scott’s, Rocas and The Tube. Most shows are in English, but there's also 1 show in French.

That's right - you can come see the comics perform on sat, apr 25 (show 20,00) or sun apr 26 (show 17,00). Or why not come and see both shows as the comedians mix up their material for both shows.

Luxembourg's International Comedy Club is proud to bring 3 tops acts from around the world for the Weekend Comedy Fest.

Andy Valvur USA - With credits to his name like Comedy Store LA, NY Times contributer, The Improv, Andy is a political comic second to none with material about pretty much every nation in Europe and the rest of the world - a legend on the comedy scene for over 30 years, he even has an Estonian passport too, go figure.

James Allan UK - Roles in Hollywood films such as Desert Flower & The Physician and has acted with Sir Ben Kingsley and Olivie Martinez. Musically he has been Front man of bands like 2Unlimited, Ottowann as well as a solo artist in his own right and played onstage with greats like Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake. Finalist of New Comic of the Year in Germany.

Johnny Hollywood USA - The godfather of English comedy in Germany, Johnny is also a former Marlboro Man model! A fantastic voice as well, he turns any karaoke night into a one-of-kind evening to remember. A completely lovable guy who will have you giggling all the way home.

Adam Field's UK is originally from England but has been living in Amsterdam for many years. His performances are peppered with spontaneous wit and schizophrenic leaps into other personalities. A lively and visual comic with well-crafted routines that consistently induce hard and fast laughter. Adam has worked with some of the world’s top comedians and was even the support act for British stand-up legend Jack Dee on his recent European tour.

Rayen Panday IND is fresh off his one-man show selling out theatres in Amsterdam and is probably the most charming comedian in Benelux. An incredible singer as well, he has the entire package. A comedian of many talens, Rayen tends charm the pants and skirts off of everyone he performs for.

Eva Sara Vromans NL is one of the most exciting up and coming comedians in the Netherlands. She is also a well-known comedy promoter in the south of the Netherlands and runs numerous successful shows in cities such as Eindhoven, Tilburg and more with her company Eve-vents. Her original and fun style will leave you giggling all the way home through the streets of Luxembourg.

Jeroen Pater NL is one of the foremost names in Dutch comedy and known as the godfather of the Utrecht comedy scene. Observational and twisted humour at its finest - he is a bit of a communications skills expert and we're looking forward to the magic he can work on the audience tonight.

Soula Notos (Greece) - Soula is born and raised in Holland in a Greek family. Crisis indeed! She knows it by heart. Growing up with shouting and gesturing relatives (small bodies, lots of movement), the only relief was comedy. And now, close to her well deserved pension, she loves to tell stories filled with self-mockery to as many people as possible.

Hank (NL) is one of the foremost hosts on the European circuit today. Don't miss this change to see this legend in action as he walks you through the evening and promises endless chuckles and giggles along the way.

Joe Eagan (CAN) - Joe entertains crowds with his unique perspective about life as a Canadian in Europe, culture clashes and lots of other fun things - a maple syrup mix of observational humour you don't want to miss! Joe will take a break from hosting the show this evening and instead perform a new set he has been working on for two weeks over new year's in Budapest for us!

She is an internationally established poet, recognized for combining her voice and powerful imagery on stage. Peter Luebken (GER) is our guest this month in the talent of tomorrow slot. Come and see this quirky German comedian who will leave you giggling with laughter all the way home. Just the rarity alone of a German comedian is enough to have to see him perform.

Comedians performing:

Zeid Andersson (Sweden) - One of Sweden's top female comics, she won the One-liner of the year award in 2012. She is also one of the members of the hit group "A Little Damn Women's Movement". She has graced the stage in many places, including gigs in New York, LA, London, Singapore Hong Kong, Lebanon and Bosnia. She is also quite a singer and combines music with comedy and has even entertained for Swedish troops in Lebanon and Bosnia.

Jason Waddell (USA) - Taking Europe by storm, this American, IT nerd by day, and experimental comic is an up and coming star of tomorrow and we look forward very much to him joining us.

Manu Moreau (BEL) - Recent winner of New Act of the Year competition in Belgium and the up and coming comic that everyone is talking about. The man, the mystery, the legend is coming to Luxembourg. Not for the faint-hearted, be sure to bring your laughing pants and skirts for this amazingly unique talent.

MC - Joe Eagan (CAN) - Currently residing in Sweden, across the water from Copenhagen, Joe runs the English comedy clubs of Copenhagen and Malmö. On stage, he entertains crowds with his unique perspective about life in Europe, culture clashes and lots of other fun things - a maple syrup mix of observational humour you don't want to miss!
