The Schueberfouer, funfair of the city of Luxembourg at the huge Glacis-field, is the biggest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region with over 2 million visitors a year. This year's Schueberfouer will begin on Thursday, August 23rd and last till Tuesday, September 11th. The fair is open every day from 2 p.m. to 1 a.m. (on Fridays and Saturdays till 2 a.m.), the restaurants and some kiddy rides have already opened. The 672nd Schueberfouer will be officially opened on August 23rd at 5 p.m. by mayor Xavier Bettel.

- 27 sweets, candies and ice-cream stands

- 51 loteries and other games

- 8 luna parks and glass labyrinths
