This workshop is open to everyone aged 15+ interested in finding out more about Shakespeare: how to speak his words, how to grasp their meaning and how to begin to express that meaning in delivery! The workshop will include fun practical activities designed to instil confidence and develop the ability to work on Shakespeare's texts, using extracts from Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. It is not necessary for participants to read or prepare the texts in advance. Activities will include both group and individual work and involve elements of performance. This session would suit anyone with a reasonable level of English.
